What is the Trail of Treasures™?
The Trail of Treasures™ is a unique, multi-day shopping experience spanning over 238+ miles along Nebraska Byway 136 Heritage Highway—from Brownville to Edison, Nebraska—with an additional 135 miles extending to the Colorado state line.
Seventeen counties along the Byway come together to host this three-day event, promoting our communities, local businesses, and the people who make them special.

What & Who is a Trail of Treasures™ Vendor?
A Vendor is anyone who hosts or sells garage sales, food, merchandise, services, and more.
Anyone can be a vendor, but only registered vendors are officially part of the Trail of Treasures™ and included in the Shopper Guide.
What is an Area Vendor?
An Area Vendor is anyone who legally resides within one of the Heritage Highway Organization counties:
Franklin, Furnas, Gage, Harlan, Jefferson, Johnson, Nemaha, Nuckolls, Thayer, Webster, plus the corridor counties of Dundy, Hitchcock, Otoe, Pawnee, Red Willow, Richardson, and Saline.
Out-of-Area Vendor
If you live outside of these counties, you are considered an Out-of-Area Vendor.

Vendor Number
- A unique Vendor Number assigned to you
- Displayed in the Shopper Guide and on town maps at your location
- Used on your vendor signs for easy shopper navigation
Two Official Vendor Signs
- Professionally printed signs displaying your Vendor Number
- Designed to direct shoppers to your location or business
- Identifies you as an official registered vendor
Sign Pickup Information
- Signs delivered to your town coordinator on or about September 20
- Pick up your signs from your local coordinator at that time
